The device operates as follows.
The part of the carrier located in front of the .3 unit located in front of the input end of the optical fiber 4 is irradiated with UV rays with a wavelength of 0.365 μm. OPTICAL HEAD FOR READING LUMINESCENCE CODES | BARS, (containing optically coupled V-shaped UV radiation source, UV filter, carrier transfer unit, rectangular light guide, light filter and photodetector, characterized in that, in order to improve reading accuracy , the side walls of the fiber are made of a material that is transparent in the UV region of the spectrum, and are optically coupled to a V-shaped source of UV radiation.
